Having recently completed a stunning renovation of their main floor, the owners of this Maple home, approached us to update their second-floor hallway, hallway doors and bedroom closets.
The existing parquet wood flooring throughout the second floor was removed, as were the baseboards, doors in the upper floor hallway, door trim, and closet sliding doors. New hallway and closet doors were installed, in a shaker style to match those on the main floor. Matte-black hinges and hardware were added to all upstairs’ doors, and door trim in the same style as those on the main floor were installed.
In coordination with our flooring supplier, Preverco hard maple flooring was installed throughout the hallway and bedrooms to match the first floor and the recently renovated staircase. Baseboards matching the main floor were added.
Not only does the renovation improve the upper-floor aesthetics, the updated design and hardware improves functionality.
