2023 RELEASE FROM HANSTONE QUARTZ

Project Collage, Kestle Interiors

Our front-window kitchen display has been updated!  Matterhorn is a new release from Hanstone Quartz.  Inspired by super white quartzite, Matterhorn quartz makes a statement with grey hues, warm whites, and earthy brown tones.

Quartz is an engineered surface made from natural stone particles.  The variation in colour, shape, shade, pattern and size are inherent traits of quartz.  The random distribution of particulates are a part of overall design and composition and are not considered to be defects.  This mixture is poured into a mold, pressed, cured, heated, gauged, and then polished.

There are many benefits to HanStone Quartz. It is heat, scratch, and stain resistant, making it a practical choice for kitchen and bathroom countertops. It also works well for  any height of backsplash instead of utilizing porcelain or ceramic tiles.  Quartz is also non-porous and does not require sealing as granite does.  HanStone is Canada’s Premier Quartz surfaces brand, made by Hyundai L&C Canada in London, Ontario since 2009.

Transforming a Vision

The owners of this Ballantrae home had a vision for a spacious walk-in pantry to replace their existing small butler’s pantry.  They wanted a readily usable, efficient work surface, easily accessible storage space for supplies and small appliances, along with colours and surfaces to blend into the adjoining kitchen. Check out their room transformation above!
